It’s Tuesday, November 8th. What’s that mean exactly? Two things really. It’s election day so that politicians and their voice recordings will end after today for a little while and the kids are out of school. The last time they had a day off, I was ready to sell them on the black market. We sat down and talked last night and laid out a schedule for today and they seemed to be interested in making sure that I was able to continue working today. (That threat of daycare works!)

But the best thing is…they aren’t up yet! It’s 7:13am and most of the time, they are coming in to wake me up on their days off but not today. I’m sitting here in the peace and quiet, enjoying my coffee and catching up on email and message boards because I’ve been so busy the past couple of days. I’m not complaining, that’s a good thing… (But you can tell by looking at my desk that I’ve been busy!)

I’m going to enjoy the peace and quiet just a little bit longer until they get up and start their day…but this is nice. I wasn’t expecting it!
